Julienne Marr
Head coach and trainer Julienne Marr is a licensed coach with Equestrian Canada and has over 30 years of experience with horses. Her dedication to the horses quality of life is evident from the moment you step foot on the farm. Her standards are high and her widespread understanding of horse sport and correct horsemanship provides only the best for our equines and their caregivers.
Julienne’s riders are instilled to develop strong equitation skills as the foundation to success when it comes time to step into the show ring. Specializing in Hunters and Jumpers, lessons are structured to build on each riders skill set and training programs are tailored to develop the techniques required to meet each rider and equines individual goals.
Julienne enjoys the journey of helping green riders and horses develop their skills and their passion for horse sport as well as travelling to regional, provincial and national level horse shows with her team.

HEAD COACH - Julienne Marr
Helen Lefler
Assistant coach Helen Lefler has been with Grandview for 15 years. Previous experience has developed her background in riding, showing and training young horses while developing her coaching skills under the guidance of head coach Julienne Marr.
As a graduate of the University of Guelph in Equine Business Management she has had the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of equine best practices within the industry and has developed a passion for teaching riders of all ages and skill levels.
Helen enjoys quality time spent in the saddle with Grandview’s eccentric horses and coaching the Grandview show team at provincial level competitions.
ASSISTANT COACH - Helen Lefler
Brittany Switzer
Instructor Brittany Switzer joined the Grandview team 6 years ago. At a young age Brittany developed a passion for riding and coaching, completing her rider level 7 with Equine Canada.
As a member of the Grandview show team, Brittany shares her knowledge and experience gained in the show ring and training with Julienne Marr with Grandview’s grassroot riders developing their skills to reach new heights.
Brittany enjoys beautifying our show horses, providing custom clipping and grooming services as well as coaching the Grandview show team at provincial level competitions.
